I make known the end from the beginning Isaiah 46:10, Where there is no vision, the people perish Proverbs 29:18
I am trying, more and more, to look at my life with the end in mind. We are all going to have an end. God sees our lives from the top down, beginning to end. Viewing my life from His perspective, focusing on the lasting, eternal things, the relationships and people who are most important in my life: God, my wife, daughter, family; and the character and legacy I am actively imparting and leaving behind, gives me more clarity, focus and purpose for what needs to be done today. Without vision for the end, I’ll loose sight of what and who is really important today.
How do you want to be remembered? What will be written in your epitaph? The spiritual legacy you leave behind at the end, is dictated by the choices you make today. What choices do you need to make today, to reach the goal at the end?
