“Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome,” Nehemiah 4:14 … First and foremost: remember where and who your strength comes from.
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me” Psalm 23:4
Walking through the dark valleys of life, if we forget who our strength is, who our protector is, we fall into the fear trap. Fear leads to forgetting the Lord.
“and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes.” Nehemiah 4:14
Now drawing from the strength of the Lord, fight with everything in you to protect your wife and children from the enemy who comes to steal, kill and destroy, not just you, but the generations after you.
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
